Did I mention that I "got a gig," as I refer to it at our home? My clutches and writing kits are now sold at a very super cute store, Genevieve's Home, in Blue Springs.
Since school has ended, I now have time to make and play and figure out different things I want to make. This playtime has led to some failures, but I am so grateful to have the time to make mistakes and figure out how make what I want to make. Once I get a few more projects to Pam, the sweet owner of Genevieve's Home, then I will get back to my quilting projects!
This summer, I want to finish my red/blue quilt and make a scrappy quilt for our king-size bed! I've never made a quilt that large, but it is time. Oh...and I want to make jewelry and learn some new skills! And I want to make some jewelry holders {something like these} using those super cute knobs I bought a while back...half-price, at Hobby Lobby.
Here's to a great summer!!
