This Has Been Happening
*We went to Niagara Falls and loved it.
*I spent time in St. Louis with a dear friend. We shopped, crafted, and enjoyed our short time together. We made these cute necklaces, but mine broke the first time I wore it. Must learn how to make jewelry!
*I am finally working on my king-size quilt for our room. It's a bit busy and full of color, but that is what I wanted.
* I was able to stop by the super-cute quilt shop, Crimson Tate, in Indy. It is on my Top Ten list of favorite quilt shops. The fabric selections were unique and interesting and lovely...all good!
*I made a pin cushion ring. It's pretty huge, but it suits me just fine. This way, the probability of missing the mark and stabbing my hand with pins and needles diminishes significantly, so it's very practical!
*My perennials are in bloom. Amazingly, what I planted last fall has lived. Just so you know, any attempts to keep plants alive went out the window once I had children years ago. All my energy and focus has been devoted to keeping them (and me) going. Now that they are older, I figured it was time to pay attention to our yard. I'm sure my neighbors would agree!
