I made lots of pouches. Some were made with fabrics that I ordered from Spoonflower and others were made with my favorite fabric combo...Liberty of London and Linen. These went to Genevieve's Home and sold, so I will make some more someday soon.
My crazy husband bought me the big Sizzix die-cut thingy, so I was able to play around with the melon ball dies. I only said one bad word when I was sewing the curves, so I think I will love this.
For the past couple of years, I have been doodling words and phrases in my notebooks...which have now spilled out onto my fabric creations. This has been FUN, so I can't wait to see where my brain takes me with words and fabric.
Finally, I saw this in an antique shop in Brunswick, MO. Someone, sometime ago, worked very hard on this quilt. Part of me hates to see it unfinished in a shop, and that part of me wants to buy it, finish it, and love it. The other part of me knows better than to take on another diy project. Hopefully the perfect person will find this quilt!
I love seeing what you're up to! :) :) Especially the project with the words....they are just fabulous. Do you ever make bracelets or necklaces?
ReplyDeleteI have tried to make jewelry, but everything I have made is a fail. All my supplies are going to be given to my 4-H arts and crafts kiddos so they can show me how it is done. 😀
