One Corner Down...

This makes me very happy!  My husband made this for me!!

He recycled the counter top from the old island-top that he had in his shop and bought some wood to make this Work In Progress and Fabric Scrap storage shelf for me.  I had everything, except the old sewing table drawer, which I found yesterday in Brunswick, MO, while shopping with my mom.  The red trays, which house works in progress, came from Target years ago.  I had been using them, but now they are really going to get good use!  My fabric scrap boxes are now off of the floor and make sorting scraps very handy.

The interfacing and other stuff is off of the floor, and now, I can push my chair under the work area...which I'll show another time.

My plans are to work on the bookshelf and work area next.  I think I will take this corner by corner, until my craft room is all spiffy.  I'm smiling as I type this!
