New Quilt
My Christmas quilt was so much fun to make, that I decided to give the idea another try. The puzzle to figure out was that I wanted to feature my Priory Square fabrics, designed by Katy Jones, for Art Gallery Fabrics. I had no scraps of this fabric, and I wasn't interested in chopping up the fabric that I did have into smaller pieces. Instead, I cut up the center blocks into 7 1/2" squares to make a simple 4-square center block.
This is my kind of block...simple, large, easy...featuring beautiful fabric.
The first block I made is 1/2" too small...not sure how that happened, but it will make a great pillow! 15 more blocks to go, and I will have another king-size quilt. #happy
