Photo Study #1

Taking photographs that show the details of the fabric and stitches in my quilts and clutches is my goal, but I've run out of time to take a photography class.  So I am playing around on my own.  These are my first trials with morning light(6:30 A.M.):

 Since I have none of the photography lingo, I will just say these are not right.  The lighting is not enough and the focus of the Nifty Fifty lens isn't what I want. 

I'll keep trying!
