Craft Room Island Makeover Time!

Originally, the craft room island was designed to seat 4 people, with the thought of crafting, scrapbooking, etc. among friends and the kids.  That rarely happened. 
 
Then my sewing took over, and my big ironing board and large cutting mat took priority over the space.  Piles of stuff began gathering around the chairs, and no one ever sat around the island.

So, we (read:  husband) are in the process of change.  With new shelves, a larger counter top, and cabinet drawers in the making, it became clear that my big ironing board cover was in need of a makeover, as well.  So I did it.
