On my long crafty to-do list has been making a Christmas quilt for each of my kids, and now, I can cross this off my list! Most of the fabric was purchased from Quilter's Harvest, in Higginsville, Missouri. The tumbler template was purchased from the Missouri Star Quilt Co. I made up my own pattern for this quilt. Now, I wish I had added more light fabrics in the tumbler mix, but my kids don't care. The other quilt is a pattern from Elizabeth Hartman's awesome book. My daughter and I had a lot of fun putting all the fabric strips together to make the blocks.
Now it is time to curl up with the kids and the quilts and enjoy being "stuck" at home on these cold winter days to come {"stuck" at home is my favorite place to be}.
